Everyone says not to pack much clothing and just buy it in Vietnam. Just curious do they cater for larger sizes, eg Aus 16?

You can get clothes made to fit but I wouldn’t take a chance banking on being able to buy size 16 Au Clothes most sizes are small I would take what clothes you want from home
Not a lot of choice above xl
We just got back last night and my husband who is an American XL had a hard time. I’m a size M here and things I bought were XL. I would suggest packing a week of clothes (depending on how long you are staying, we stayed two weeks) and having them laundered. It’s super affordable! Then the clothes you buy are a nice perk or option and you aren’t stressing to find things!
Mostly too small if you are a size 12-14. Especially if you are tall.
Nope, you should definitely pack enough clothes for your trip to VN! It’s actually quite hard to find your size over there.
I’m a size 14 and fit into their XL size from clothes sold at markets. Shirts, skirts and elastic waist pants were easy to find – dresses not so much.
Get some dresses made there its cheap and fast ..anx made to fit
Just pack some light clothing. Don’t depend on finding stuff there. It’s very easy and cheap to get the hotel to launder items. For me I bought some heavier items of clothing (denim skirt etc) that I never wore
UK size 14 and I bought a 3xl lululemon top. It’s need and quite short. Personally I’d not put myself in the position of having to get clothes in Vietnam.
They do not cater to North American sizing at all, if looking for say assorted types of ladies size 10=16 clothing. They do have any size in sportswear clothing, usually up to XXL, like North Face, etc.
