Everyone says not to pack much clothing and just buy it in Vietnam. Just curious do they cater for larger sizes, eg Aus 16?

I’m a size M-L and in Thailand, I had to buy a men’s XL tshirt. It was still a bit snug! I’m going to Vietnam in December and won’t count on buying clothes there. But I’m definitely a light packer!
Very hard to find. My son is a big guy and I have to bring his clothes from Canada
Nope. Even their XL just fits me – size 12
Don’t do that unless you want to wear I ❤️ Vietnam and obvious knock offs daily. Branded clothes and even Vietnamese designed clothes are not cheap.Instead pack for clothes good for half of your stay and hit the laundromat, which is all over Vietnam.
No. I was told when trying on a bracelet “Asian size”. I’m a Canadian size medium. 🙄
I wouldn’t do that . Pack what you’re comfortable in . A lot of the shops sell the same things . I didn’t find it easy to buy as a size 16 .
They say that to buy tailored clothes. I did not go that route and brought my own clothes.
We’re here now and thought we could buy things, but if you’re bigger sized, it’s a struggle to find anything. Bring your own stuff, you’ll be glad.
Nope, don’t even do it to yourself. Bring clothes. If you want get something made custom at a Taylor.
If you go to Hoi An there are so many tailors you can have rhings made to fit your body dirt cheap. I got a linen suit for a song. The Vietnamese are small, so off the rack might be hard. I don’t know if other places have tailors like Hoi An, but I plan on going back next year and getting a custom wardrobe.
