I take a daily probiotic but also have started using Travelan. Seems to work or I’ve just been lucky.
Trader Joe’s sells several types of probiotics, but I’m not sure anything will 100% protect you here. Use common sense when selecting place and food to eat. If you’re coming to Da Nang, I can recommend a few places where I’ve never had any issues.
If you get sick, probably diarrhea, you can get any medication including antibiotics from a pharmacy. No prescription needed. Probiotics will not help unfortunately.
I like to take black walnut wormwood tincture in water a few days before my trip and for the first few days of the trip. I also bring umeboshi plum balls which are good for any kind of stomach gut issue
