How HUGE Americans are compared to Vietnamese!
How truly beautiful the country is! The people, the food. The Museums, the landscape. Really stunning! On water or land.
The motorbike population and trying to navigate through the streets on foot… 🙃
The amount of Russians on Phu Quoc.
To me Vietnam was a country rich on culture, wonderful people, and a thriving civil infrastructure industry. In no was did it appear ‘third world’ to me and lots of people who haven’t been there think that it is and I feel I need to correct them.
The beautiful kindness I already knew. So my surprise was more about my own naïveté: The lack of walkable sidewalks. How intense the air pollution was. How incredible the fruit teas and coffee drinks were – like insanely incredible.
