We’re landing in Vietnam next Saturday & doing Hoi An, Hue & Hanoi. What kind of layers should I be bringing? Just like a waterproof mac, or something a bit heavier/ warmer? And are jeans appropriate warmth wise. I don’t know if I’m overthinking the TikTok’s telling me it’s cold 😂 Thanks!

Its pleasant not cold
It’s hot ! I’ve bought all
Tic toc do people really get travel advice from that. I wouldn’t be cold just a light jacket in case of showers.
Light coat, hoodie, sweater maybe but honestly you don’t need anything heavy. Good pair of runners and comfortable clothes. Anything you don’t have, its cheap enough to buy.
You don’t need anything heavy. Hoi An is hotter than Hanoi, but Hanoi is a very comfortable temperature. Most people wear T shirts and shorts. Today in Hanoi it has been raining, but it’s still warm. You could always buy a lightweight raincoat in Hanoi when you arrive. Plenty of places and cheap for all the fashion brands!
We have been here just over a week hot only needed T-shirt and shorts in Hue
Hue was burning yesterday. Temperature wise it’s not that hot but UV rays!!
I use a weather app on my phone which lets you pick cities. They also give you the forecast for all week. Planning to make last minute adjustments on my wardrobe right before I leave. If going to Sapa best to bring a jacket and be prepared for cold and rainy weather.
I’m in Da Nang and have been the last couple of weeks. It’s HOT!! Bring sun cream 🔥
Se are in Hanoi Right now and its 23 degrees and Perfect
