We’re landing in Vietnam next Saturday & doing Hoi An, Hue & Hanoi. What kind of layers should I be bringing? Just like a waterproof mac, or something a bit heavier/ warmer? And are jeans appropriate warmth wise. I don’t know if I’m overthinking the TikTok’s telling me it’s cold 😂 Thanks!

In Hanoi now (from UK), it’s 98% humidity so very sweaty, so light clothes and an umbrella… wore a rain jacket today as ir was a bit drizzly and it just made me sweat buckets!!

We brought rain coats and haven’t used them. It’s warm so light clothing. May be a ☂️ incase.

I’m here atm in Hue just left Hoi An… nice warming up.. hanoi cold spend last 2 weeks north had to buy tracksuit and a puffer jacket. You’ll need a small umbrella to carry maybe and rain jacket or poncho for north

Don’t believe people who say it’s cold. I packed a couple of sweaters, long pants and a jacket for Hanoi two weeks ago and never used them. Even in Ha Long Bay. All you need are summer clothes and an umbrella in case you get a drizzle, which is doubtable. Hue was very hot as is Hoi An. Keep your luggage space for all your new treasures you’re going to buy here and pack light.
