I use a passport bag that I wear all the time across my chest
Vietnam is communist country strict country. You should bring with you all the time. In case anything happen.
I leave all my paperwork in the safe at hotel room 😊..don’t leave anything at homestay…
The only time you should carry your passport is to and from the airport or when moving hotel / cities.
Vietnam is one of the safest and most hospitable places I have ever visited
Always leave valuables in safe. Am over 60 and have never had something disappear from the safe. Keep cash in my wallet in a zippered pocket.
We have been in Vietnam for 3 weeks and carried money and passport with us
I’ve been carrying my pass with me wherever I go for cash. I’ve been carrying small amounts a little goes a long way I spend like maybe $1 million every 34 days.
Honestly it’s pretty safe.. don’t take yr passport out with you.
