The best massage in Da Nang – Da Nang Forum

I recently stayed in Da Nang for 3 months and struggled to find a good, affordable massage therapist (a lot were painful). Finally, after one month, I found Ngoc Bich who is very good. So I wanted to recommend her here for anyone else looking for the same.

She is not just better than other massage therapist I tried in Da Nang. She’s the best massage therapist I ever had, and I’ve lived in the Philippines for 3 years so I’ve tried plenty.

The way I found Ngoc was via one of the Da Nang expat Facebook groups. There wasn’t much feedback about her though, so I just ended up giving her a try. She does in-room massage which I prefer after being tired from playing pickleball.

No funny business by the way, if you’re looking for that look elsewhere. She told me she usually doesn’t work with men for that reason.

If you’re interested, you can contact Ngoc via WhatsApp and Zalo: +84 0934716244. Or by using Messenger via her Facebook profile here: https://www.facebook.com/Lafichill/

P.S. I don’t stand to benefit from this in any way, just sharing a great find.

Paul, what type of massage are you having?

I have Swedish (oil), some can be too hard.

    Not keen on Thai.

    Don’t know Vietnamese.

Personally, I don’t have any other recommendations, unfortunately. As I mentioned before, I struggled to find a good, affordable massage therapist in Da Nang. Pretty much all other therapists I tried caused uncomfortable, somewhat painful moments; I think this was due to the generally strong massage style in Da Nang combined with unskilled therapists.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but I did largely go off recommendations in Da Nang Expat Facebook groups and cross-referenced those with Google reviews, so I did my due diligence.

I was a bit puzzled at the time why it was so hard to find a decent massage in Da Nang, so I was happy when I finally found Ngoc.

Would be good to have a backup Ngoc though I agree 😊

We’ll try Ngoc. But if she’s not available, any other suggestions?

We’ll stay at the Four Points hotel in early March.

In Hoi An, oceanspahoian sounds good and we’ll try them.

I would not blindly go to a blind massage shop, they are not all good. They are not all blind either.

Yes she’d come to your hotel room. She’s plenty strong, just the right balance for me. I like strong massages too, but if unskilled massage therapist do that it can often lead to some painful moments. Not with her.

Thanks for sharing. My wife and I are heading to Hoi An and Danang in early March. We hope to find good massages. I like strong/sports massages. Last year at Bangkok, in couples massage in adjacent “cubicles”, I found the lady working on me very strong. I turned to look, and she was standing on me. I didn’t mind because that worked.

So she doesn’t have a place, meaning she’d come to our hotel room? I guess we can try her, one hour each. (next to find good massages in Hoi An)

350,000 Dong is tourist price? Locals don’t pay that at a basic massage shop, do they?

@LuKhaLay She doesn’t have a physical location currently. As StingRay metioned “Probably because does not have a shop” (regarding the pricing).

She does plan to start her own spa in the Son Tra area next year she told me.

So yes, her rate is quite cheap monetarily, but the massage itself is very good.

I wasn’t sure about her either at first, because I found her in a Facebook group and feedback on her was limited to one positive comment, so I just ended up giving her a try and the experience ended up being very good.
