Was due out 26-03 but cancelled was with Emirates so got full refund will leave it till next year because of the uncertainty.
Are Emirates providing guaranteed refunds
Cancelled my Emirates ticket for 21st on the 2nd full refund, book new flights on Cathay last Monday, luckily before the price rise.
Yes – rebooked via Hong Kong & waiting to see if the first flights are cancelled, and if not, will take £200 cancellation fee hit. Flying at the start of April.
I’m part of planning an April international (scientific) meeting. The war situation could mean reschedule in time & place. About half the collaborators are African and they have few possible routes except through middle East. Plus they all need visas & the Ministry won’t process their visas until (at least) 10 days before they due to fly due to excess demand from the overstaying tourists now in VN. My own holiday plans (in VN) can proceed but I may have an extra week in VN that I didn’t intend, if too difficult to change return flights; luckily my flights are not through middle east. Interesting Times.
We are due to fly 4th April with Emirates.
We suppose to fly out on the 26th but cancelled our tickets with Emirates and bought new flights with VNA. Too uncertainty and risky flying through the Middle East at the moment. Hard enough trying to contact Emirates from the comfort of your home ( I tried the whole week and managed to connect to their live chat twice), I can’t think anything worse than being stranded and not able speak to Emirates.
Lucky people with Emirates! Still waiting for Qatar! Never again will fly with them. Our flight is on the 24th of March, cancellation is till 22nd, lost our opportunity to buy reasonable priced tickets .
Laura Campbell Emirates flights are operating as usual, with only a few limited flights. More than 50% of the Emirates network has already been restored. Please feel confident to fly with Emirates to Vietnam.
We’re due to fly from Manchester on the 29th via Dubai, and I think we’ve come to the decision to take the refund that Emirates are offering… It’s so hard to know what to do but ultimately we don’t want to get stuck if any flights get cancelled, and the advice from the government is to not fly via Dubai if not essential!? I’ll be following this to see what others are saying/ their experience is but it’s not looking positive 😞
