Im just back from HCM. 3 Irish ladies were due to fly Qatar via Doha & Dubai on 05 Mar. They are still there. If the airline xxls – you will get a refund. Do not xxl yourself. Insurance will not cover any form of Civil Unrest. If it were me, I would re-route, no one has any idea what will happen and I couldn’t think of anything more likely to spoil my fab holiday than worrying. Good luck 😊
We have done it I’m here now flew to china first
We’re still in Saigon, been here a week longer..so silver linings..✨️
We going via Dubai
Wow. I wonder if people realise they will not be insured when travelling through Dubai due to FCDO advice against all but essential travel. We’re due to go via Dubai on 2nd April but waiting for Emirates to cancel or if they don’t take the cancellation hit and reroute but alternatives are few and expensive 🤦♂️
We are heading out on Saturday all being well. We would have liked to change flight path but no can do. Just hoping we get through Dubai ok. 🤞 It is worrying.
Changed our flights. We were due to fly from Manchester – Dubai – Hanoi – but I’ve changed flights to avoid that airspace. Also no longer doing Dubai at the end for 4 nights and extending stay in Ho Chi Minh City
I’m returning to Uk from Da Nang via Dubai next Wednesday. Waiting to hear from Emirates if I can check in.. or they are cancelling.
I’m begging for Qatar to cancel our flights so we can get a refund
Hopefully flying from Hoi chi minh late Monday, transitioning via Dubai. We have had previous flights cancelled. Have looked at numerous other options and the prices were horrendous. So unless cancelled we will be going on this route.
