Medical assistance in Vietnam is exceptional. Coming from Australia, we are used to great medical access but Vietnam lifted the bar. My wife unfortunately got a bacterial lung infection after 2 months traveling. Walked into a medical clinic in HCM city and received first rate service. Within 2.5 hours she had been examined by nurses, seen the doctor, had a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia, had an influenza test, seen the doctor again, pharmacy completed and then an awesome nurse who guided her through the puffer and medicine use. In and out in this time with all of this is awesome. Yes there is a cost but very reasonable for the service.Vietnam, well done

I agree I went to hospital in Nimh Binh the treatment was fast and efficient and very inexpensive
dec 2025 staying in Hanoi had chest pain went to hospital (cleveland clinic associated) by grab (faster than an ambulance) in about 30 minutes was seen by a cardiologist he ordered three test, was not a heart attack, seen the cardiologist again for results all in less than two hours cost 4.3 million VND ($165.00 USD) i would go back for major testing and elective surgery
