I don’t bother with anything less than 100’s. Except I bring a ton of $2. People in VN love the $2. I see them inside the clear phone cases all the time.
I exchanged $25 in Phu Quoc… no issue
They take any bill but give lower exchange rates for small bills. Bills with writing, Torn and worn bills are not accepted,
Generally speaking the bigger the bill the better. Know the rates.
You can change any $$$ amount as long as is not fake bill.
Yeah, same in the Philippines, they only take new and crisp dollars because the bank rejects if it’s old, crumpled and if there are writings on it.
Money is money right, $20 will feed a family for a week, but 50s and 100s are more changeable.
Also, they don’t want wrinkled & dirty bills.
Using a Wise or similar travel card,
What if my bill isn’t crisp but it doesn’t have any writing on it and it’s not wrinkled? My bank didn’t have any crisp new bills.
