Is it impossible to exchange US cash for VN in bills below $50? Some of the posts here make me think a $20 bill would be rejected everywhere. Thanks. Is it impossible to exchange US cash for VN in bills below $50? Some of the posts here make me think a $20 bill would be rejected everywhere. Thanks.

Just came back and they didn’t want my 20’s…offer less to exchange. My daughter had crisp 50’s and 100’s and she had no problem and got the exchange rate for that day.
Yes to answer your question..
Yes, but you will get horrible conversion rate.
I’m assuming the answer is no like most places: Does cash give you a better rate than the ATM (example Argentina)? If not best just use the ATM when needed.
Me too
Not impossible just not preferred. You’ll get lower exchange rates
I exchanged $20s at gold shops no prob
You might be able to get it done depending on the place you go to however they are very wary of fake money and so they prefer a fresh crisp $100 bills
They’ll take any notes, just gotta be somewhat new and unripped. Lower notes will be exchanged at a lower rate. $100 bill will get you the full rate. $50 and lower, most likely you’ll lose a dollar or two per $100
They will but they’ll give a crappy rate. If the bills are wrinkled, they won’t accept it.
