Hi, We are arriving at Ho Chi Minh tomorrow from Adelaide Australia and have a few questions. We are staying in the centre of District 1- What is best way for spending- wise card or cash ?- What is the best way for travelling? Taxis or public transport? If taxis, any apps? – Which are best places for teenage kids shopping, I.e. shirts, shoes, bags etc. Thanks

We downloaded the grab app and attached it to our Wise card and it was so easy, very cheap transport. We took AUD and changed at the gold shop/ money exchanger as needed. Cash is king especially at the markets and street side food vendors. We never used the ATM.

I compared wise with my BankWest card and my BankWest was best. Only thing was having to find an ATM that takes MasterCard not visa. Only extra fees is the fees that some atms charge.
