   Take a flight to either Hoi An or Da Nang from Hanoi, & from that location, tour both cities using a tour guide to make the most of your time. In/near Da Nang see Lady Buddha/Monkey Mountain, Ba Na Hills cable car ride/the Golden Bridge & Marble Mountain. The next day from Da Nang we did a half day trip to beautiful Hoi An Village in the afternoon after taking a taxi/Grab to The Intercontinental Hotel for lunch (spectacular). In Hoi An we went to the silkworm center, custom tailor shops (had silk clothes made the same day), the Japanese Bridge, toured 2 small museums, had dinner, & a lantern boat ride at night😍, then our driver took us back to Da Nang – back by 9/930 pm. Well worth it! Or you could spend a whole day in Hoi An and do more shopping – we didn’t have a lot of time for that.

   We are in Sapa now and very glad we came but I think after tomorrow the weather changes…..it is significantly dearer than anywhere else and Grabs charge between 300-700vd…..if you do come though I would recommend Sapa Vista View hotel provided you get a room with Mountain View……since the price of tours is expensive we just walked along by our hotel and down to Phanis cafe which was amazing

    Sapa is a 5 to 6 hour trip to and from so you would need more days to enjoy. Save it for your next trip.
