Hi, Our flight was delayed by 3 days because of the war, so we have some extra time.Since we have 3 more days due to the flight postponement, what would you suggest doing? We’ve already seen Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Ha Long Bay, Incense and Hat village.Sapa I think is still too cold.

I’ve not been there but friend who know VN well went to Sapa and didn’t recommend it. Very touristy apparently 🤷🏼♀️

Mai Chau and/or Pu Luong might be a good idea. They say rice fields in this time of the year are beautiful. Much better than in Sapa. I’m checking this next month 😁

You can check out Tam Dao or Cat Ba, they have really nice homestays and resorts~ And very close to Hanoi
If you’ve already done Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay, you could consider a short trip to Ha Giang or Mai Chau for beautiful nature and local villages. Vie Travel AI can help you find some quieter spots and plan quick trips like this.
There is so much to do and see in and around Ha Noi. Just stay and chill. Hang out and meet some local people. Get a taste of local life, rather than only touristic things. You’ll be gad you did.
In Danang at the moment, very windy and rainy 🌧 ☔️ since yesterday, could hardly see anything yesterday from Ba na hills cable car ride or golden bridge hands. Today had spa day in hotel as raining a lot. Check weather forecast for where ever planning to go, difficult to assess as it changes quickly.
Nip down to Hoi An for a couple of nights.
