You don need it. I’ve never use an adapter in thirty years of traveling Vietnam. US type flat two prong plugs work fine. Also most things with a charger like cell phones, laptops and cameras don’t need a voltage regulator. For anything else read the small print. Most use 100-240v.
I bought this one and it is awesome for about more than 150 countries (converter not included):
What you’ve said is true. I bought one of these adapters this week and when I tried to plug it into the wall, it was too heavy to stay plugged in, even for a moment.
It will fit in VN
The big problem with this type of charger is that it is quite heavy, and it will fall out of a socket if it is even slightly worn. This bulky design only really work well for the Euro plugs with the big round hole, which are not very common in most places. One trick that works well when traveling is to bring a short 2-3 socket extension cord with a small local adapter, which allows you to use even worn wall plugs with your home chargers, and you can place your devices where they are convenient, as the electrical outlets may not be in the best locations.
Yes. It will fit. We use type A, C, E, F in Vietnam.
I’ll take a look at the product 😛 i am looking for my 16th time going back to vietnam
Remember it’s is 240V over there. So even if you have a plug adapter that let you plug in your appliance , it will fry if you appliance is not 240v compatible
