Privately message the hotel you should be able to find email address on Google.
I did that once and upon arrival they took me to their sister hotel. Swear my room was part of a Ghost Adventures experience. Cancel your booking and go elsewhere
Cancel your booking,and choose other accommodation. You’ll have no problem finding somewhere.
They sell the room on another booking website for like 10x
Even if it is not a scam I would not accept that. Changing rooms and locations cuts into your trip. Cancel and insist on a full refund and book elsewhere.
I know this actual hotel, generally has a decent reputation but the rooms are pretty ordinary. We stayed at iPeace hotel next door which was a very similar standard but a bit cheaper. These are budget hotels and it’s quite possible that they’re undergoing renovation or repair. I’d recommend cancelling the booking and looking elsewhere. As I said, the iPeace hotel next door is very similar and in a great location.

Ugh. I just read the reviews for that hotel and a reviewer mentioned this. After reading the reviews I would not have booked that hotel.
One thing you should consider if its a scam is when they don’t addess you using your name but instead using “valued guest*
