Hi guys… first time traveling to Vietnam in March.

Hi guys…first time traveling to Vietnam in March. Have sorted the e-visa and travel insurance, flights and accom. Is there any other paperwork I should be aware of BEFORE I leave Australia and secondly – your thoughts on “fast tracking”. Thanks a bunch in advance 😊

Visa and passport is all you need. Anything else you forget you can always buy here

If u are not in rush no point using fast track, it took us only 10 mins out of the custom in Hanoi and Da Nang but in HCM was longer as its more crowded but we weren’t rush just follow through. Use grab to anywhere don’t use taxi as they took u around to get more in their meter. Sign up for wise as it has better rate and find atm techcom bank as it has low fee for withdrawal.

Fast track is great if you have a connecting flight to catch or are arriving at peak times and do not want to queue for hours, which airport?

We paid for fast track but then ended up waiting beside everyone else for our luggage to arrive so it defeated the purpose

Maybe a couple of photocopies of your passport, for hotels or tours.

Hi Ali, I didn’t fast track because I didn’t have connecting flights etc. It wasn’t necessary flying in to Hanoi, or Danang. When I left HCM to fly back to Australia is wasn’t necessary either as I just left plenty of time to check in/ line up at customs etc
