Hey guys, looking at going to Bana hills tomorrow but I think the optional tour via our group is very $$$. Advice please from anyone who has booked a tour? Any specific recommendation? I had a brief look on Klook but some were very unclear about what is provided. Alternatively we’re considering getting a Grab (never done that before) and just buying entry tickets there. We’re staying in Hoian. Any advice very welcome

Did we a tour company . There are plenty local businesses that do tours . Ask your hotel manager to recommend
I went yesterday. Booked with KKday Traveler, cost 63 euros. Pick up at the hotel, drop off, and lunch all-inclusive, excluding some rides, e.g., the roller coaster. Pleased I went, but not my thing I’m afraid, but at least I can say I’ve been.

It’s a bit far from Hoi An about 1.5hrs away. Not sure if you can get a Grab to get you there and vice versa. I suggest hiring a driver. You can buy tickets from the gate.
Just compare prices on Bana Hills site, actual ticket prices are listed.
I did this. Got grab and went to bana hill s with son and daughter but that day was raining so we didn’t buy tickets to go up because it was so cloudy we won’t see a thing.. the ticket is not cheap almost $40 USD for each.. the grab is not cheap either.. so check the weather before you go.
