Hey guys, looking at going to Bana hills tomorrow but I think the optional tour via our group is very $$$. Advice please from anyone who has booked a tour? Any specific recommendation? I had a brief look on Klook but some were very unclear about what is provided. Alternatively we’re considering getting a Grab (never done that before) and just buying entry tickets there. We’re staying in Hoian. Any advice very welcome

We took a grab there and back for 830,000 then paid basic entrance fee. Our grab driver waited for us so was easy easy and no tour chaos. There’s a return option on the grab so that you actually pay less. Stay away from tours if you want to go at your own pace.
I thought everything is extremely cheap there ?
We did a private driver and tour with Bảo Anh. (HTH Hue Travel). Contact him and he will assist with getting around Vietnam! We were in Vietnam a few weeks ago and he team was great!
just get a grab. ba na hills tickets quite expensive.. nz$80.. but is a 3day pass with cable car priority. the grab driver will prob wait for you.. to take you back.. we ended using the same driver for all our longer trips.. and to take us back to airport.. didn’t speak much english. but very good using google translate.. and was happy to take us where ever we wanted to go and wait.. pm if you want his dets..

We took a taxi from Hoi An it cost 1m Dong & the driver waited all day for us. It then cost £1.3m each entry including a lovely buffet lunch. All cable cars, funicular and rides are free. It was a great day. If you go to Lilys restaurant & spa she will sort it for you. The driver was a super careful driver.
We took a grab, best way to travel. Yours are painful and you must follow their route and timeline. Go early it’s insanely busy trying to get on a cable car after about 10am. Get your grab driver to stop and pick up tickets BEFORE you get there. – or if your hotel sells them
I was there yesterday. I didn’t use s guide. I paid $7 usd each way on a grab bike from the North side of DaNang. A car would cost $12 each way. There’s easy kiosks at Sunworld entrance and you can choose your cable car and any ad ons there. Get there before 8 a.m. as it gets very busy after.
We are doing a private tour as we like to go where we want not where you are told to go. Not that expensive tbh but we are in full control.
Don’t go by tour. Book 1 night at the Mercure in the resort. Take a grab to the hotel check in at bottom. Enjoy the place without the crowds at dusk and dawn.
