Hello! I am travelling to Vietnam on Thursday and want to print out allergy cards to show my servers while ordering. I am allergic to peanuts, peas, lentils and chickpeas. I know translation apps aren’t perfect, so I wanted to ask here if any revisions are needed to make this clearer.

Đậu xanh is mung bean.
Add pictures of the allergens to the sheet
Absolutely avoid street food if your allergies are severe enough for you to be hospitalised
You good to go!!! Have a safe trip , you will love vn
What is their emergency # in Vietnam? Have that on speed dial.
They put peanut in a lot of things.
I have an allergy too but not severe. I always asking “khong de dau” meaning no beans or nuts at all.
I wouldn’t go with severe allergies. Vietnamese are very polite and pretend they understand you to be polite. I asked a waitress several things about a meal that when it arrived, although nice, didnt have what i asked for. After the meal she said ‘OK’ I started to speak but she looked blank, the guy next to us had a quick conversation with her then turned to me and said she doesnt understand English at all!! It was funny but not if you had an allergy!!
when you order the food you need to tell them to know about that
Chicken beans ? Is that what they call chick peas in Vietnam??
