4 days 3 nights. Amazing hiking trails around the area. Did not enjoy the city. Very commercial. Stayed at Eco Farm Homestay. Wonderful experience
Whether the weather sucks or not it’s a beautiful place to be and experience. That’s my humble opinion
Sapa may well end up being the highlight of your entire trip if you make good choices.
Sapa is amazing. We left there 2 months ago and it was certainly a highlight.
Sapa and Mt Fanispan was well worth the time and effort we put into that area. A huge shout out to Helen Nguyen that made it all possible from Hanoi to Sapa and all in between…. YAH GUNNA LOVE IT 🇻🇳🇻🇳
100% head up to Sapa and do some experiences with ETHOS – Spirit of the Community
My wife and I have travelled se asia annually minus 2 yrs for covid since 1997 for 6 to 8 weeks each time. We have travelled many countries and in our opinion Sapa and area is one of the best we have encountered.
Sapa is 100% worth the journey, probably the highlight of my trip. 3 days in Ninh Binh should be fine.
Something more authentic and less busy than Ninh Binh perhaps.
Two weeks is such a short time. If you aren’t sure about Sapa then I’d say skip it. Also the weather there is super unpredictable so it might be beautiful and might be completely foggy. I’ve been to Sapa twice. I like it, but it’s not my favorite place in Vietnam.
