Hello group. My wife and I are celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary on 14 March in Da Nang and I’ve tried booking the Monargue Hotel, which was recommended to us by friends, but they are full.

You are probably thinking to yourself, “bloody idiot, why didn’t he book well in advance.”And the answer to that very reasonable response is that up until today we didn’t know when we would get there. You see, we two old retirees are on our own real (not eBikes) bicycles exploring Vietnam and Cambodia and tend to change course on a regular basis, plus we’re really slowOk, we’ve got that out of the way. Now to the obvious question.Does anyone have any suggestions of a really nice hotel on the central beach where I can spoil Colleen and try to convince her that it was me who came up with the idea of staying at the hotel one or many of you are about to suggest? She’ll actually know I’m lying through my teeth as 28 years of marriage does that to a good plan.Thank you in advance, even if only for taking the time to read this plea for help.

Hyatt Regency Da Nang. It is heavenly. If your budget permits, book a sea view room with club access.
