Hello group. My wife and I are celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary on 14 March in Da Nang and I’ve tried booking the Monargue Hotel, which was recommended to us by friends, but they are full. You are probably thinking to yourself, “bloody idiot, why didn’t he book well in advance.”And the answer to that very reasonable response is that up until today we didn’t know when we would get there. You see, we two old retirees are on our own real (not eBikes) bicycles exploring Vietnam and Cambodia and tend to change course on a regular basis, plus we’re really slowOk, we’ve got that out of the way. Now to the obvious question.Does anyone have any suggestions of a really nice hotel on the central beach where I can spoil Colleen and try to convince her that it was me who came up with the idea of staying at the hotel one or many of you are about to suggest? She’ll actually know I’m lying through my teeth as 28 years of marriage does that to a good plan.Thank you in advance, even if only for taking the time to read this plea for help.

Good luck, we stayed at a few different ones on the beach strip which were all great but I think you are looking for something a little bit more special. I’m not sure I can recommend but the above recommendations for Sala Danang or La Carte look good from walking past? Beach across the street and good walking area.
Emerald Danang riverside. Is what our agency recommended. To date we only had 4 and 5 stars hotels. But check itbout as we are not there yet.
Peter, the Furama Resort in Danang is on the beach. My wife and I stayed there last March. It’s a 5 star hotel with a stunning beach. I checked website and they have availability, rates are about $US200 per night, which is quite reasonable for a 5*. Some rate options include include breakfast buffet.
Have a look on booking…com or Agoda we have just booked our 80 days of travel through them sites lots of hotels in DaNang, check out the reviews and be careful of scams.
Intercontinental….
DLG in da nang
Unfortunately I cant help, as I’ll visit Vietnam for the first time next week, but wanted to say, this is the cutest thing i read in a while 💖 hope you’ll have a great time
Alani hotel or Taiyo hotel and apartments
Would Hoi An not perhaps be more appropriate for a romantic few days? We chose Hoi An and booked the Anantara Resort. Haven’t been yet, so can’t report back, but reviews are excellent.
If Monarque Hotel Danang is full, you might also like Sala Danang Beach Hotel, TMS Hotel Da Nang Beach, or A La Carte Da Nang Beach – all right on the beach and great for a special anniversary stay.
