   I stayed at a place in Can Tho that had camera. I told them about Airbnb’s nocam policy and they came immediately within 10mins to remove it. Just let them know about the policy.

   I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs in Vietnam and never see it heard of hidden cameras. Security cameras are very common in Vietnam. I would ask the host if there are security cameras inside the unit (like living room) if it’s something you are worried about. I know people who have cameras like that in their homes in Vietnam but never heard of that in an Airbnb. (For context, I’ve lived in Vietnam for over 5 years)

   We didn’t notice cameras but as usual we started our trip with air bnbs and it was a disaster. Only one booking was good out of 4. We had to report one to air bnb. False advertising. Nothing but problems. Mold. Dirty sheets. Things broken. And never fixed. So if you want hassle free go back to the other booking platforms. No headaches.
