Good morning, we totally failed and completely forgot to bring a physical atm card to Vietnam. Please no hate, we already feel super dumb. Does anyone have any ideas on how to withdraw cash? Thanks!

Western Union app. Send it to yourself and all you need is an ID to pick it up

Set up remitly. You can send money if perhaps you have a relative there with a bank account? You can send directly from your bank account, I believe.

Download Remitly. It allows you to transfer to someone else’s account for like $.99 and you can also send it to a bank or post office and get a cash out

If u hv Wise Digital, u can link yr bank account and use it to load money onto Wise then exchange to VND. Otherwise, can relatives help?

Depending on your bank and how long you are traveling, you can have old card cancelled and a new one shipped via DHL to one of their authorized locations here. It may take 5-7 days but you will have a physical debit card in hand.

Thank everyone, since we don’t have the physical card we don’t have the card information. And atms don’t let us do tap pay with a foreign card. Trying to figure out western union though. I’m asking around tour guides and seeing if I can PayPal them and they can get cash for me, but I sound like a scammer 🫣
