Family of 6, didn’t get FastTrak as not worth it for our family, rather spend the money elsewhere. But if it was only me, I’d definitely have gotten it. I documented the time it took: landed midnight at HCM. 0035 started lining up, 0157 at front of line with custom officer. Luggage’s were already out when we go out. Arrived at hotel nearly 3am. I felt so bad for the parents with young children. So “should you get FastTrak?” Depends on your circumstances & affordability. Given a second time, I think I still wouldn’t spend $180 for us. Hope this helps someone out there.

It was a nightmare when we arrived, I think I would have paid had I known just how bad it was
I paid $20 in December. They are ripping off families. All they do is lift the rope and that’s it…..
180USD?Next time try to pay one person 500000VND
I know that buying Fast Track just perpetuates the poor immigration service. But hard to tell that to people who wait in line for hours often after coming off a long international flight.
We landed in Hanoi on Friday evening at 9 pm. It went pretty quick . No fast track, line was not long . Less than 30 min we were out
Next time just tell one your children to cry . 😭 that’s the trick.. they will pull u aside to fast lane
I landed few days ago in HCMC around 1215am, no checked bags and got everything done less than an hour. Took a train to Mui Ne left about 6am that morning, we spend 2 hours at the airport and took Grab to district one and board a bus around 6am. Was pretty easy, the Grab cost was between 4-5 USD from airport to district one .
Lol if you come to Vietnam for a holiday and complain about affordability you shouldnt be coming to Vietnam. Its not that expensive
If time is your most important currency (it is for most people in the corporate / business world), fast track is worth it.
Would this affect us flying from Cambodia to HCHC?
