Family of 6, didn’t get FastTrak as not worth it for our family, rather spend the money elsewhere. But if it was only me, I’d definitely have gotten it. I documented the time it took: landed midnight at HCM. 0035 started lining up, 0157 at front of line with custom officer. Luggage’s were already out when we go out. Arrived at hotel nearly 3am. I felt so bad for the parents with young children. So “should you get FastTrak?” Depends on your circumstances & affordability. Given a second time, I think I still wouldn’t spend $180 for us. Hope this helps someone out there.

Landing in Nha Trang, will I have this problem??? We have 5 kids and landing at 1AM!!
For a midnight flight, this is too long
From my experiences, for arrival what purpose to get pass the customs check early when your bags would be late on the carousel baggage anyway :v … also this fast-track service is how corrupted customs official teams make money from. However, for departure you could if you’re worry about being late for your flight.
Im confused with your comments of, Landed at 0035 but only started lining up at 0157, how did it take so long to get to the line for immigration?

Don’t take photos in the immigration area. It’s not something the Officers allow.

It seems they are doing it on purpose to earn extra money. So bad Govt of Vietnam.
I didn’t buy it in December, but I was through the line in less than 30 minutes (arrival around 2200 on a Friday).
