Currently in Hanoi. Shortly after landing my throat started burning and I now have an annoying cough and runny nose. Day 2 we went out to Halong overnight and it improved slightly. Trying to work out if I have a virus or if it’s the horrible pollution. Had no issues rest of Vietnam (we’re doing South to north). I should probably just go to a pharmacist and ask? Don’t especially like to take me germs in to them, if they are germs. I bought masks last night but they’re far too small so can’t wear that either.

Ask for tiffy.
There’s a cold virus around in Vietnam, I got it too a few days ago, nothing to do with air quality
you came with the virus from your country. The incubation period of a virus is at least 2-3 days
A mask will not help you with a virus. I heard Hanoi was polluted that’s why I didn’t go…..I stayed in Phu Quoc for 6 weeks with no problems.
I always wear KN95 masks in airports and on flights. Too many people, too much close contact and no fresh air makes for virus hotspots. I don’t go on holidays to become unwell.
We had exactly the same thing been home a week and still got a sore throat and phlegm.I think it was the pollution in Hanoi and general tiredness as well did a lot.we should have worn masks but you can’t see it so don’t worry. Coming back everyone was coughing on the plane too .my thyroid was exhausted
Air-conditioning on plane, I’m always getting a slight cough or snivelling nose after flying long haul
It’s how my cold started and the cough continued for a week+. Fisherman cough drops stopped the cough. Needed a few a day.
Were you sprayed in the airplane like the cattle?
Dont worry you cant die here, we have holy air that make you stronger
