In Ho Chi Minh city at the moment having travelled the length of Vietnam. Have seen one rat , see them all the time back in the Uk in towns and markets.
Last time I was in Vietnam I went fishing with a local, we went for food. I let him order as there was no menu. The meat was nice but I couldn’t work out what it was, so I asked him, his reply was “urh, how you say, rat” ignorance was bliss
They are everywhere
I’m in Thailand it’s not unusual for me to ride a motorbike through the dining and kitchen area of open restaurant the cats keep the rats away
Current in Vietnam nobody cares
