Help. My partner wants to travel to Vietnam but I am undecided if I want to go. I’m too old to rough it so would like to have a similar experience to travelling to Bali (luxury without the Bali belly). Can anyone suggest where might be nice to go? I’m also thinking maybe Singapore or Japan as an alternative. Thank you in advance

Currently in Hanoi. Shortly after landing my throat started burning and I now have an annoying cough and runny nose. Day 2 we went out to Halong overnight and it improved slightly. Hi everyone 😊At first I thought the tailor thing in Hoi An was overrated and that I definitely don’t need more clothes… but after *so* many friends who visited kept recommending it, I’m starting to reconsider.Anyone here actually did it and can share their experience?How does the process work? Hello! Our family, with children, are taking 2 days in the Tam Coc area, coming to and from Hanoi. It is best to self-direct or book a tour? We are normally NOT tour people as we have kids that need flexibility, but thinking it may just be easier to have it all planned for us? Any recommendations? ALSO, need great homestay ideas in that area! Thanks in advance!
