Hi, I just wanted to check if this is legitimate or some kind of scam. Since we’ll be arriving late at night, this is making me quite anxious. Anyone else staying at this hotel? Just want to double-check.

I saw a sample hotel scam email like this one on scam watch yesterday
I’ve had that happen no problem but everybody thinks everything is a scam…. Sad but I understand
Don’t go. Cancel the whole thing.
Cancel. Usual scam.
The value vintage hotel in Hue did this to us at the last minute said they needed to do emergency repairs and they would move us to sister hotel value spa hotel. When I asked why they were still taking bookings for former they said they had forgotten to tell me I was back in original hotel.
Just cancel and book elsewhere
Money back, book a real hotel
You might have to go to customer support to get your money back on the app. Happened to me on Agoda recently and they gave me a 10% voucher.
There is a known scam where a nice room is advertised and conveniently it’s not available due to an “issue” and then you receive a room of lesser quality, so yes this is a known scam. There’s tonnes of accommodation in Vietnam, better just cancel and get a more reputable place
Would recommend to cancel it. Once you’ve technically checked in, Agoda support can be a nightmare for the remaining nights. Save yourself the headache.
