yeah, I use mine all the time.
It works well where they accept credit cards, but offen no credit cards are accepted. You can get cash from ATM with it then.
We’ve just used our normal debit/credit card for larger purchases/restaurant dinners and withdrew cash from the atm for smaller purchases/tipping – no issues
I was just in Vietnam yesterday and tried to use an ATM and it was declined. I checked my Wise account and was informed that Wise is not supported in Vietnam. I pulled money out when I arrived in Bali today using my Wise card with no issues.
We use starling. Always works ok wherever we go and no fees. I dont know how it compares with the others though.
Yes and yes
Yes it is. Its been awesome. Download the digital card aswell.
Yes it works fine but Aussies should really consider getting a fee free Macquarie bank debit card. Excellent exchange rate, absoluteley no fees except local VN ATM fee. Wise will only allow one physical card and charge fees to convert currencies, withdrawals over $350 per month and for transferring back to your bank account. Macquarie offers joint accounts, and can link to a high interest savings account and transfer between as required with no cost. Extremely easy online application takes a couple of minutes, cards arrive within a week. Got both, but Wise is now only for backup.
Revoult is better
Yes it’s used here, family came over last year and used it in both Japan and Vietnam. But I think she found it hard to get money out in some ATMs in HCMC, but that could be normal as even our Vietnamese cards can have issue. I recommend having wise cash and mcard just in case when coming here.
