You’re flying all the way to vn…foodie’s heaven and you want to cook? To each their own … Of course it’s cheaper to cook your own food…but the cost of time. Cooking also comes with cleaning.

Eating out is cheap but you can get a little tired of Pho, Bahn mi and deep fried food.

Funny they offer cooking classes 🤔so I suppose that’s a waste of time too. Watching football in a pub on a beautiful day is my idea of waste of time…. I love the world is so diffrent🥰

It’s always cheaper to buy ingredients and cook. It’s also usually healthier, so reduces healthcare costs in the long run. Now factor in cleanliness and loosing a day or two to food poisoning.

Buy because their food is really cheap and for me (as Asian) sometimes the serving is for two people already so keep leftovers and reheat in your kitchen?🙂

I mean food is cheap in Vietnam compared to other countries to eat out . Knowing what markets to go to and being able to negotiate prices takes time and also knowing what your looking at as many fruits and veggies are different but if your familiar with them this makes it easier

Not only the cost on money but also the cost of your time. If you enjoying to cook though this has an additional value. Food especially on local places are super cheap, so most probably the eating out is a wiser choice. However if you stay for like months in Vietnam it worth to buy all the supplies and you do cooking as well some days. I hope I helped enough.
