Family of 6, didn’t get FastTrak as not worth it for our family, rather spend the money elsewhere.

Family of 6, didn’t get FastTrak as not worth it for our family, rather spend the money elsewhere. But if it was only me, I’d definitely have gotten it. I documented the time it took: landed midnight at HCM. 0035 started lining up, 0157 at front of line with custom officer. Luggage’s were already out when we go out. Arrived at hotel nearly 3am. I felt so bad for the parents with young children. So “should you get FastTrak?” Depends on your circumstances & affordability. Given a second time, I think I still wouldn’t spend $180 for us. Hope this helps someone out there.

So I think the going rate is ~$30 if you’re solo. That’s really a shame that this would be per person, so 6 people is $180? That’s very unreasonable. I would question that cost as well if I were with a family. It’s no more work for them to usher you into the VIP line, then charge 180? Not fair at all in my opinion.

Really all the folk that buy fast track are the ones making the problem. Shame

Immigration is getting beyond dreadful here and all this fastrack, backhander carry on isn’t helping at all, in fact it’s adding to the problem being pretty much blackmail now. Hopefully enough travellers speak up and complain because they don’t like bad publicity here and X fingers I’m hoping the government puts an end to this scam that is embarrassing and won’t help get people to want to come back imho.

Prepare yourself for your outbound flight, important go to airport 4 hours before your departure flight

Paying for an easier line or they called fast track ?? Never heard of this in any airport in the world paying to be in line the easy way???? Where did that concept came from?? Sad, very sad??

Paying for it normalizes and incentivizes poor airport service instead of better training and more customs officers being utilized.

We purchased FastTrak and was met at the plane where they took us straight to the front of the line. The line was NOT long, but it helped to have someone who knew where to go and to walk us there.

My baby started crying in as we got to the back of the line and we got instant fast tracked to front of the line. Tip – wave crying baby in the air and get through in under 10 minutes haha
