Learn more about this feature:
This is Vietadvisor's "virtual assistant," using AI to generate questions or suggest additional related information right within the article you're reading. For example, if you're viewing an article about traveling in Da Lat, it might display "Have you tried Da Lat coffee yet?" or suggest "Learn more about Xuan Huong Lake." It helps you discover more without having to search yourself!
You will find the content more interesting and easier to understand. Instead of just reading the article with the main content only, you have additional questions to ponder or suggestions to delve deeper into the topic. It's like having a companion guiding you further in each reading.
Definitely! The AI is "trained" to stick closely to the content of the article. If you're reading about how to cook pho, you'll see questions like "What are the secrets to delicious pho broth?" instead of irrelevant content.
The questions and suggestions are generated based on data from reviewed articles and direct information from Google Gemini, ensuring high reliability. However, if you have doubts about any information, please contact us for further verification.
The AI relies on pre-trained data and current article content on Vietadvisor and real-time data from Google. We regularly update the system to ensure information reflects the latest trends, but you may want to double-check to confirm the level of updates.

The trip was good, they cared for you every step of the way. The catering was plentiful and tasted lovely, they will also change things if you have dietary requirements. The only thing to know is that it’s very busy out there with so many different boat companies, however it’s well organised.
Apart from the visit to the Pearl Farm the trip was good to see the setting of Ha Long islands. Despite the chaos of so many visitors to a honey pot site, the organisers kept the group together and moving. The lunch was surprisingly good! The guides were knowledgeable about the site.
Unfortunately it wasn’t sunny but still had fun. Drinks are weak. Food average. Accommodations very nice. Much nicer than a large cruise ship experience. Staff care was amazing. We had Luna as our server. She is kind, has a nice smile, and was very helpful. Kayaking and squid fishing were quite fun. Cave was a waste of time. We were told dark cave was closed. We went to bright cave which meant we were in a bamboo boat and floated under a natural opening with some stalactites. We ended up in another bay, the boat person tipped the boat a bit and talked to other boat captains for a few minutes and rowed us back to the dock. NOT really a cave of any sort.
Our guide Sunny was amazing, very informative and engaging from the moment he picked us up. Long bus journey but it’s worth it, food on the boat was great, and the views were stunning, equally stunning was the cave tour, Sunny gave a great overview of the history of the caves/islands. We made the effort to walk to the summit of Ti Top island, which was well worth the effort, great views!
The day we went was cloudy and overcast, but the mountain islands are beautiful regardless of what the weather looks like.
It was difficult to hear/understand the tour guide due to microphone issues. The bus microphone had too much feedback making it impossible to understand the instructions until our guide was near us. On the boat, it can be too noisy to hear all instructions.
Food was good. We were asked if we wanted vegetarian meals or seafood. I chose vegetarian and we all shared the plates with the table to enjoy seafood and veggies. Tables seat about 6-8 people.
It’s a big cruise boat with a couple levels for dining and top deck for views. On multiple occasions, we tried to spend time on the top deck or around the boat to take photos and were told to go sit inside which was disappointing. I would have rather spent more time outside taking in the views than from a noisy dining area.
My favorite stop of this tour was to the cove where you can either kayak or go in a group boat to go through a cave. We saw monkeys in this area which was neat to see!
These locations are very touristy so there are just people everywhere. I want to do a multi-day cruise visit again hopefully with better weather but I would probably try to book one in a less busy area of the bay.
Overall this experience was okay for our need for a one-day tour. If that’s what you’re looking for then this will cover the highlights of Ha Long Bay.
Amazing trip – great hospitality – Charlie the group guide was excellent planner – whole group enjoyed the activities – perfect 2 day overnight cruise
Very professional all around. They picked us up at our hotel as promised, and the entire experience was great. It is exactly as advertised. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the food, but that’s not their fault because I’m not a big fan of seafood.Again, it’s exactly as advertised and well worth the value.
We had a great day exploring Ha Long Bay through this excursion. We saw the sights of the bay and got to explore caves and mountains as well. We were well attended to throughout, the transport was well organised, and our guide Ken was fantastic, making sure that we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend doing this cruise!
I really enjoyed the boat ride and the cave tour. The rice was also satisfying enough.
Everything went very well even before departure (with messages for the organization) and during the cruise.
A big thank you!!
