   Just do a day trip out from Hanoi and be back in Hanoi for the evening. From what we saw you don’t spend much time cruising and a lot of time moored up in one place confined on a small ship with very little to see or do except plenty of other ships filled with tourists. The activities are shared with endless other tour groups and can result in long queues. Plus, for us, at least, our ship only had room for an overnight bag for luggage so we had to find somewhere else to store our suitcases. Just another hassle that you really don’t need plus the meals of board were very minimalist and not value for money.
