We just landed in Ho chi minh at 11 am! They didn’t even asked for the evisa! Although I entered the number when i checked on our flight at Cathay pacific. I just found it weird that no one asked at all! Oh and the line ups in immigration….no need to get the fast track! We were out in less than 20 minutes! All the hype about evisa and fast track are bs!

Glad you had that experience! My husband and daughter had the same, but for some reason I got pulled out of line and scrutinized hardcore by like four people. I still have no idea what happened. Eventually they just let me through…? 🤷♀️
At the check-in counter they want to see it before you even fly to Vietnam. After checking in at the counter we went through a face scan, then a passport scan then we went through security. Three different checkpoints. When I arrived around 2:00 on a weekday it was packed. My $30 I spent for Fast Track was well worth it.
Its not BS. Varies by amount of flights coming in at certain times.
Check the entry stamp in your passport. Probably they’ve stamped 45 days visa free entry if there’s a visa exemption for your country. If you plan to stay for 90 days according to evisa and your stamp is for 45 days only you need to contact immigration service
It varies, very busy last week
Just leaving HCMN and the lines for immigration and customs were huge . It’s not a one size fits all
First time out of home? Sounds like it, calling evisa BS, what a stupid post
You can’t checkin for your flight without the visa if you need one
You didn’t need to present the visa Because it’s already in their system that you have one. If you didn’t have one, you would not have had a pleasant experience
I’m surprised they ask to see the evisa at all…they have it linked to your passport number; as soon as they scan your passport your visa information should pop up on their computer screen.
