We have one more day left in Phu Quoc and wondering if it’s really worth going to starfish beach?

I wouldn’t go there. I didn’t visit because I feel sorry for all the starfish where I’ve heard that they put them there for decoration and for the visitors and the starfish die.. that’s insane and sad🥺💔
Hated it . They are out there for the tourists . The tourists pick them up for thier insta photos and they then die . It’s not a natural starfish beach . Tourist trap . Do t waste your time . Heartbreaking for us and wish I had not gone
We loved it. 🥰
How are you liking Phu quoc? Our itinerary that we’re building has us finishing a 3 week trip to Vietnam with one week on the beach there to relax before heading home. Curious if there is anyplace better we should consider ?
Was good when I went there but that was a few years ago
We were there a couple of weeks ago, if you are close enough to make it part of a day I’d say yes but don’t know if it’s a full day outing! You don’t need to book a tour either, either a scooter or grab to get you there and pay for the boat ride over when you get there 😊
Okay, let’s go there because it’s a pristine beach with no buildings and surrounded only by local fishing villages, lots of starfish, and a national forest.
I’m Aussie and thought star fish beach was tragic. Went today. Wanted to ask all those playing with the poor dam star fish out of the water to leave them be. That they were not toys. We had to leave and took our rubbish out with us. Think I’m glad I went but wouldn’t do it again. Trashing their paradise.
