🚆 Vietnam 2026 – looking for advice! 🇻🇳We are planning a trip to Vietnam in the second half of July (after July 23) and would like to travel on some routes by overnight trains ✨Planned routes: • Hanoi → Sa Pa (Lao Cai) • Hanoi → Da Nang • Da Nang → Ho Chi Minh City👉 I’d really appreciate advice from anyone with experience traveling by train in Vietnam:1️⃣ When is the earliest we can purchase tickets for these routes?2️⃣ Do all routes open for booking at the same time?3️⃣ What is the best platform to book tickets – official railway website, Baolau, 12Go Asia, or something else?4️⃣ Is it possible to reserve full sleeper cabins (2-berth or 4-berth) in advance? We’d like to book early to make sure our group can stay together 👨👩👧👦Thanks in advance for any tips

You can usually book Vietnam train tickets about 60 days in advance, but some shorter routes open later. Best to book early if you want sleeper cabins together. Vie Travel AI can help you plan routes and check the best booking options easily.
The beds are insanely hard FYI
We did Sapa – Ninh Bình – Halong Bay
Sapa sightseeing tour by private car
We did Lotus train sleeper last may Hanoi to Danang. You ate able to book a 4 sleeper for 2 people which I highly recommend as its a small space. It was quite the adventure. We really enjoyed it, clean , basic food on board and if you have headphones ypu will get some sleep. You can book direct through their website
