We have a two-night stay planned in Tam Coc and require a minivan service for the trip. Specifically, we need transport from the St. Joseph’s Cathedral vicinity to Tam Coc, and then a return service back to Hanoi.

They’re all much the same unless you are willing to pay extra for a private transfer.
The vans tend to be comfortable enough and it’s not that long a drive.
A lot of them will get you to switch vans once you get to Ninh Binh and as with any transport in Vietnam I’d be aware the actual departure time is often delayed.
