Secure and Dependable Transportation Options in Hanoi

Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice on the most secure and dependable modes of transportation to utilize while traveling within Hanoi. Could you confirm if the Grab service is considered safe?

Many thanks.

Absolutely, we had read about checking the number plate of the vehicle you are getting into, which we did and would do with Uber here anyway. We faced no issues at all.

There are also public buses and the metro. Much cheaper than private taxi or Grab.

I’m a senior female and while I stayed with family, I got around Hanoi alone a lot and used Grab. It worked very well, never had to wait more than 10 minutes and I felt completely safe and it is very inexpensive, at least for a US traveler.

Hi, to travel in Hanoi you can choose Grab or rent a private car, both are very convenient. Grab is everywhere and at any time
