Proposed Vietnam Itinerary

Greetings fellow travellers. My wife and I are seasoned travellers and love Asia having spent time in quite a few countries. We are planning to visit in April 2027 so plenty of time to fine tune our plans, there are so many parts of Vietnam that we are almost bewildered hence the ask for help, This is where we are at Stage 1 so please feel free to comment/advise/ask questions.

Travelling from the UK in April 2027

14 days touring Vietnam to include:

Hanoi

Halong Bay

Hoi An

Ho Chi Minh City

Mekong Delta

Followed by 5 – 7 days on the beach somewhere nice to unwind before travelling home.

I appreciate that is a very basic itinerary so all I am asking for at stage 1 is – does it sound do-able, should we add somewhere? Once I get a schedule that we feel is right, stage 2 will be the accommodation and what to see where.
