People ask me why I love Vietnam and why I keep returning. They ask why Vietnam owns my heart! The brief answer, Vietnam is where my senses, life and soul feel full. I don’t have to say much, just share a few pictures from one small capsule moment. A tiny miniscule spot and seconds in Hoi An with a whole nation of beauty surrounding me.A resilient generous population, with hearts of gold and historical significance. There is simply only one Vietnam, only one Hoi An, one place in Vietnam to start a discovery. Only one place as there are dozens to explore and enjoy.Living without a visit to Vietnam is a missed opportunity for understanding the essence of life.

Do you sometimes feel like you were born in the wrong place and/or the wrong time?
We are heading over from Australia tomorrow for a 2.5 month stay. Basing ourselves in Danang and taking trips to other destinations.
Vietnam people are 100 percent gorgeous and humane
Absolutely agree !! We have been 3 times and planning a 4th – this time want to do a whole 3 months there ! We feel we have only scratched the surface of this beautiful country !
You read my mind, your last paragraph is perfect. About to do my 6th trip in 2.5 years, early April. Should have been there now but had to move dates. One day I just won’t come home. ❤️
It is the best place ever!!
I just got back. Was there for the first time six months ago during their independence day. I had to go back for Tet. Vietnam is an amazing country. I’m already checking tickets for 2027 Tet. 😀
I’ve had the good fortune to travel around the world and I live in one of the world’s most beautiful cities but I keep coming back to Vietnam. This place has my heart for sure.
Got to agree with this post – don’t miss Vietnam 🇻🇳 it’s the most free you will ever feel
I feel this exact same way. My son and I were in Vietnam in November and we could not wait to get back. We now have another trip scheduled this April. I’m not a people person and as crowded as Vietnam is I loved every second of it. I’m very much a homebody back in the States and I don’t go anyhere but in Vietnam we walked everywhere. We were hardly ever at the hotel and I loved every second of it. When we left to come back to the States I felt like I was leaving my home.
