Not sure what to do. We’re supposed to be going to Vietnam on 6th April. Travelling from the uk stopping off at Doha. Anyone else in this position? Are you cancelling or waiting to see what happens?

We’re suppose to be 23rd march via Doha. But been looking at alternatives but the price has hiked. There is numerous airlines that’s are going via HK, Singapore, Munich etc. so just gonna keep an eye out x
I cancelled my ticket on Emirates, no refund yet, did it on their App, phone doesn’t answer, messages switched off. I bought alternative flights on Cathay. I didn’t want to wait to the last minute as prices are rising and I’m booked on a cruise (no refund if I don’t get there!). I just don’t want to miss my cruise.
We should have flown yesterday with emirates to Kuala Lumpur it was cancelled unfortunately our return with Qatar from Hanoi could still go ahead as it a couple of weeks away so I had to decide to either cancel now and lose some of it or if it went ahead lose all of it so we’ve cancelled we also lose on everything else in between 😢
im headed to Vietnam the 16th of this month through Doha from the states. Qatar Airways only allows refunds or rebookings from now until the 15th of March
I’m flying via Dubai on 29th March. Booked through Flight centre so will be asking them to look at alternatives and cancel Emirates if I can get something else to work.
My friend’s ticket was canceled by his airline
Hopefully most airlines will be back to normal operations before April.
Qatar are now refunding until the 22nd March, although the refund we have been given is £200 less than what we originally paid.
We were the same flying next weekend. British airways changed our departure fly to go via Hong Kong instead.
If you have a flexible ticket id change the route. If that’s not possible then you’ll need to wait until they cancel you
