My visa just came back and my middle name and first name are not in the order required. I only need it for a long layover to Thailand… should I submit for a new one, travelling 14th March, or risk it.. husband said his last trip they didn’t even check his visa..

Get another one or it will cost you 500 at the air port happened to my boss last month with 2 letters swapped around 500 later or he wasn’t going anywhere
Of course they check your visa…and 100% they checked your husbands….!!!!!!
But what if they check yours and deny you? You will wish you had it done properly
The website shows it as reversed so it can be confusing but as others have said, always make your name match the passport even if it’s a bus ticket.
The clerk checked your application against your passport image. If it was a problem they would kick it back. I forgot my middle name twice because autofill was incomplete. They kicked it back. My passport and visa both are last first middle so i have no issue. Vietnamese people have last middle and 1st on id’s
definitely get a new visa with correct name in right place, you must of made a mistake as they don’t. As for inspection of visa they look at it 100% of the time, they may not look at your piece of paper but it’s on their screen.
The name on your visa must match the order of names on the ICAO line on your passport
Last First Middle. It should be the same sequence as your passport ICAO line
