Looking for ideas…I’m flying into Hanoi,with my 42 year old daughter and meeting up with my 2 sisters.We are in Hanoi from the 8/4 until the 13/4 which includes trip to Halong Bay.We are booked into a place in Nimh Binh from 13/4 to the 17/4.Would like to stay a couple of nights in Hanoi before we fly home on the 24/4.Where could we go after Nimh Binh,would it be worth heading up to Sapa or where else would be good…cheers

Hi! Sapa is a fantastic choice to follow your Ninh Binh trip. Since you’re traveling in a group of four, here’s a smooth way to wrap up your stay:
I just got back from Hanoi, Sapa , Lan Har Bay n Ninh Binh I don’t think u need that many days in Ninh Binh. We had a private car from Hanoi airport-Sapa- Hanoi. (Not expensive). Stayed at the beautiful Silk Path Hotel (I know the GM) surrounded with beautiful garden. Used the same driver went around Sapa country sides. Took a tour Hanoi to Ninh Binh-Lan Har Bay cruise-Hanoi. Hanoi is quite chaotic due to traffic n noise, 2-3 days max for me. If u need contacts, pm me. Cheers.
