Just want to give a shout out to Beo Cofee on South train street by Le Duan – we’d highly recommend. Firstly, everyone has heard of Train Street by Phùng Hưng street in Hanoi but many don’t realise there is also a second train street further south by Le Duan – it’s so much more relaxed, and is where they actually have to put the chairs & tables away & people need to sit sideways as the train passes (unlike at Phùng Hưng). There are fewer hackers & the whole atmosphere is just better. We spent nearly 2 hours at Beo Cofee before the train arrived, food & drinks were great and very reasonably priced. And the owner & her neighbour (who we nicknamed Grandma – she was hilarious, we loved her!) where great fun and made sure when the train came we had the perfect view. I’ve attached some photos of Beo Cofee so you can recognise it as you walk down (look out for the orange tables & red floral cushions on the left & purple & pink building with orange tables on the right), and our video of the train. If we could make one recommendation it would be to visit the Le Duan train street and stop by Beo Cofee, you won’t be disappointed!— với Dec Marshall tại 224 Lê Duẩn.
