Hop Bus is great. Just don’t go when it is raining
We took a Grab from the Old Quarter to the pagoda on West Lake, then mostly walked with a few Grabs for the intervening sections. Saw more and cost less. I’ll say it depends on your walking fitness
We liked the hop on hop off
We enjoyed the bus. Just try it. See so much from up on the top as well.
Bus, grab and well known taxi work well
The red hop on hop off bus is very useful to get an idea of paces too possibly consider visiting…
Maybe it is a good idea to go on this bus when you just arrived. Just to have good first impression of the city.
I’m in Hanoi now. We went on the last tour of the night – 7pm. One hour round trip and you stay on. 150,000 each. I loved it. Worth it.
